About Us
Wesley Methodist School Klang was first established in 1949 as Methodist Girls Continuation School, and in 1980 it became Methodist High School admitting both boys and girls for secondary education. Later from 2009 onwards, the school is known as Wesley Methodist School Klang (Private). Our school is a private secondary school that strives to prepare students for two Malaysian Public Examinations – PT3 and SPM.
The School is owned by the Methodist Council of Education, Methodist Church in Malaysia; and is affiliated with the Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (MCKL).
Character formation is the hallmark of our school
We believe that as our students are made in the image of God, they are endowed with inherent dignity, and therefore worthy of love, respect, and acceptance. Our students are blessed with distinctive character, aptitudes, and abilities, and are nurtured and developed as a whole person – the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, and social – to their fullest potential.
We ensure that our teachers are those who are passionate in teaching, love, and care for young people, and are equipped with good morale and professional competency. Our teachers also need to have good communication skills and are of good character to best impact our students.
